Northern Regional Representative Council

The role of the Northern Regional Representative Council is to promote church wide interests, activities, programs, and studies and is the official decision-making body for the Conference. They are accountable to the conference delegate body.

Membership in the Northern RRC also consists of persons chosen from congregations in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri. It shall be composed of the chairs of all Conference Commissions and Teams, the (lead) pastors and another representative of each congregation, the president of SCC Mennonite Women, and the Executive Committee. The RRC will meet twice annually, to hear reports, vision together and provide direction for the commissions, committees, task force teams and Executive Committee.

Southern Regional Representative Council

The existing UCIM constitutes the Southern RRC. Membership in UCIM will consist of all pastors and one delegate per 50 members. It will function as a parallel group to the Northern RRC, and will include members of any commissions or task groups that are created. At least one member of the SCC Executive Committee will attend and participate in deliberations. One member of the UCIM Executive Committee will attend and participate in meetings of the Northern RRC.

Ministerial Commission

The Ministerial Commission discerns the gifts of pastoral candidates and accords the appropriate credentials.

Church Growth Commission

The Church Growth Commission provides consultation and resources to congregations that will aid in their ministry and outreach. Its members will assist in the assessment of all proposed church plants, including a supportive relationship with church planters.
